Two more days!

Computer science class has gone by really fast, I can't even begin to accept the fact that only two more days are left. I've learned a lot, and I'm really glad that I was able to be in this class! I'll make sure I come to ICS next year as well!

Well, the final changes to the clock have been made. Now it's all up to Cindy to wrap it all up, and then I just need to focus on my art and my exams. Semester one was really short, but I don't have time to think about it. Semester two is on it's way, and soon my daily schedule will compose of math, science, french and geography.

I'm glad to see that somebody is reading this, and the reason I know that is because you're reading it now! This post might be a week old, or a month old, or a year old, but it ends now.

Thanks for reading, bye for now!

FINISHED!

And so, my part of our culminating is complete!

Now all that's left to do is study hard for exams! I'm kind of nervous, since I haven't had exams before, but if I study I should be fine.

Now that the clock is done, all that's left is making it a little bit more pretty, adding some music, and getting the advertisements and manuals done. Basically, Cindy's part.

Well, I'm off to study! Bye for now!

The weekend!

With two culminating assignments complete, all that remains is my binary clock and my street scene for art class. Over the weekend my job is to finish the 3-line clock, and make it look cool, while Cindy makes all the other things (user manual, website, etc.).

On a different topic, I now have a wireless keyboard and mouse! The coolest part is that I can play on the computer from my couch if I connect the computer to our living room television.

That's all that happened today, so bye for now!

Too much work!

With English culminating and Gym culminating both being due at almost the same time, Thursday, things are starting to get more difficult.

I've been working so much on them that I haven't really been spending time outside of class working on my computer science culminating, but I'm sure that I've done enough work on it to give me some time for the next few days. After this week, all attention will be focused on my binary clock!

The 6-line binary clock is finally complete, design and everything. Now that we're starting the 3-line one, we've noticed a problem. If we want to make everything work, we can either use one procedure per circle (27 procedures) or we can have three case statements with a total of 180 labels. I ended up finding a pattern that the clock follows, but I'm still not sure how to interpret that into code. That will be my main focus for the next few days, and by the weekend it should all be done.
That's all that's really going on right now, so bye for now!

Tired.

It was definitely a very long day today. Waking up at 6:00 a.m. to go to badminton, then when I get home I work on finishing my computer science culminating assignment and my english culminating assignment, but it was worth it.

I got a lot of progress today, especially on the binary clock Cindy and I are working on. So far, we have the basic clock working properly. Now it's all about the customization, or as I like to call it; the fun part!

As mentioned before, and the time before that, my posts are going to be considerably shorter. I know this isn't a very good excuse, but I am extremely tired. I think english's culminating has broken my mind. But now that the hard part of culminating is over, it's easy stuff from here. Until exams.

So, good night and bye for now!

That was fast.

I'm already done more than three-quarters of my big project for culminating. All I can say is that that was a lot faster than expected.

Anyways, I'm still procrastinating my mosaic project. Well, the design part of it anyways. It's due tomorrow, but my goal is to finish it today! I'm not quite sure how to hand in the .pdf, but I'll be sure to ask Mr.Arkin tomorrow.

As I said last time, my blogs are going to be considerably short for the next couple of days. I've been putting a lot of time into my culminating projects from every class, so I definitely have a lot of work to do.

Bye for now!

Culminating time

Believe it or not, my "big project" in computer science is probably going to take less time than my "little project".

Our mosaic project will decorate our classroom, or the hallway outside our classroom, with articles that we created revolving around the topic of computer technology. Being the person I am, I chose to do my article on C++. I remembered C++ when I first tried to get into game designing, but it didn't turn out too well. Good outcome or not, it was a memorable experience which came back into my memory when I saw other people choosing programming languages as their topic.

Anyways, I better get back to finish my mosaic project. Bye for now!
